1. Towards The Scar/ Horizontal
- Make two of your fingers together and place the flat part of them above the scar.
- Now put some gentle pressure to move the skin and tissue under the downward and towards the scar but not over the scar.
- Hold your fingers for a couple of seconds.
- Now, place the fingers below your scar and move the skin and tissue upwards and towards the scar.
- Hold your finger for a few seconds.
- Gently move your finger to the next section of your scar and repeat the above two steps until you massage the total scar from both directions.
2. Back And Forth/Vertical
- Smoothly put your finger on the scar.
- Now gently move the skin and tissue underneath the scar back and forth with the flat part of your finger.
- Put enough pressure to move the scar with your fingertips.
- Repeat the process by moving your fingers together to the next section of the scar and continue it until the whole scar area is covered.
- Make two of your fingers together and set the flat part of your fingers on the scar.
- Move your skin and tissue under the scar by making a small circle.
- Hold your fingers for a few seconds there.
- Make sure you have put enough pressure to move the scar with your fingertips.
- Slowly move your fingers to the next section of the scar and repeat the process until you cover up all of your scars.
When Should You Stop Massaging Your Scar?
